While you were Holidaying, our Juniors were Competing!

Holiday Break is no Break at all for Ivan Lendl IJTA Students

While some choose to relax over the holiday break, several players at the Ivan Lendl IJTA chose to continue their success by competing across the country.  Here are some of those results:

At the USTA Winter Nationals Championships in Arizona Shannon Hudson (age 16) lost in the round of 32 in the U16 Division but picked up a Silver Ball by making it all the way to the finals in doubles play!

At the South Carolina/Georgia Dual State Championships Carolina Lewis (age 15) won the singles title in the U18 Division.  Her sister, Jade Lewis (just turned 13) was runner up to the top seed in the U16 Division.

Of course Carolina and Jade played in the U18 Doubles Division and brought home that title as well! 

Mitchell Brockmann made it through to the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket in the Boys U16 Division.
