Ivan visits the Academy!

Ivan Lendl Visits the Academy, Trains with Juniors

Ivan Lendl, Director of Tennis at the Ivan Lendl IJTA, made a recent visit to the academy.  Many academies have a famous name attached to it, but students rarely see him or her during their training.  At the Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy, Mr. Lendl is not only very involved in the workings of the academy, he is also ingrained into the progress of each student. 

Even when he is away on business or training with his newest student, (current world number 4, Andy Murray) Lendl maintains constant communication with Director of Instruction, David Lewis, and the coaching staff.  On some occasions, Lendl will even contact students to make sure they are staying on track with their training.  No other high level Tennis Academy can boast that amount of dedication from its tennis pro.

Lendl's visit also comes off the heels of a tripling of enrollment for the academy!  Seeing such an increase in enrollment is a tribute to the  training and education philosophies that we have here at Ivan Lendl IJTA.
